Steptoe Valley Trap, Skeet, & Target Critter Shoot

Critter Shoots are organized by Steptoe Valley Trap, Skeet and Target on the last Saturday and Sunday of every month. On Saturdays, they hold the Long Range Rifle Shoot, while on Sundays, they have the Critter Shoots. The sign-in and set up for the shoots will start at 7:00am, followed by a safety briefing at 7:50am. The shooting will commence at 8:00am. The fees for participating are $10 for members and $15 for non-members. Membership forms will be provided at the shoots for those interested in becoming members.

Nevada Business & Education Expo Nevada Business & Education Expo This Small Business Resource Fair will connect Federal, State, and Local resources to business owners and entrepreneurs looking to start or sustain their business. The Chamber of Commerce has also arranged for Member business owners to have a special VIP Marketing Expert Workshop. Marketing strategies specific to the rural business community can help lead to greater success. The Economic Forum will bring state and local elected officials together for a Town Hall, allowing the business community an opportunity to discuss and raise topics of concern for improving our economy. Our state legislators, Pete Goicoechea and Burt Gurr, the Lt. Governor Anthony Stavros, Nevada's Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar, as well as Director of the Nevada Department of Agriculture JJ Goicoechea, Director of the Northeastern Nevada Regional Development Authority Sheldon Mudd, will be on hand with local leaders: Ely Mayor Nathan Robertson, Ely City Councilwoman Dr. Jerri Lynn Harper, and White Pine County Commissioner Janet Van Camp.White Pine County School District Superintendent Adam Young will lead the Nevada Education Summit, bringing educators and legislators together to identify strategies for improving education on the local levels as well as across the state.
