THE P.E.O - everyone's favorite educational women's group returns for their annual dinner and auction! Friday, July 10, 2026 at the Bristlecone Convention Center.Doors Open @ 5:30 with BBQ Dinner Served @ 6:00 Pm. Tickets are $40/person or $70 per couple with One Drink Ticket and Dinner, Souvenir Mug, and 10 Raffle tickets! Help Support a worthwhile organization that provides scholarships and community benefit. DONATE an Auction Item - help raise the Fun & Funds for Women pursuing education. Since its inception in 1869, the nonprofit organization P.E.O. has helped more than 122,000* women pursue educational goals by providing nearly $415 million* in grants, scholarships, awards and loans. The Sisterhood also owns and supports Cottey College. The Chamber has supported these efforts since 1964. Support the women who support P.E.O. Path of Light - Meet the Author
AUTHOR TALKFriday, July 10th: 7pmBristlecone General Store Backyard Come meet and hear from: Morgan Sjogren, Path of Light: A Walk Through Colliding Legacies of Glen Canyon Morgan will share stories from this narrative that retraces the 1920s expeditions led by Charles L. Bernheimer into the heart of Glen Canyon and Bears Ears National Monument. Using journals and photographs from the expeditions to recreate these historic routes, she encounters powerful perspectives and stories about land management and human rights issues that carry forth into the present. Path of Light is the 2025 Utah Book Award Winner and Library of Congress “Great Reads from Great Places” selection. Morgan will also give us a teaser from her new book about the Colorado River watershed.
