LIVE MUSIC IN BAKER LIVE MUSIC IN BAKER LIVE MUSICJuly 25th: 7pmBristlecone General Store Backyard Reno Artist, Greg Gilmore  Classic Rock meets Americana Greg Gilmore is a bit like a caption of a time gone, but not forgotten. A self-taught, nationally touring troubadour bearing a self-lit torch informed by the rock'n'roll and songwriting days of yore. With influences from Dylan to Willie, Jackson Browne to Roy Orbison, along with more contemporary acts like Jack White and Cake, Gilmore attempts to apply his own kindling to a smoldering flame. As an artist, Greg has worked with acts like Blue Oyster Cult, Marcy Playground, Brett Dennen, Vance Joy, Old 97s, Lucero, The Record Company, Willy Tea Taylor, and Sam Chase.  Event start date: 07/25/2026
Johnson Lake Hike Johnson Lake Hike The Sisterhood of the Traveling Orange Chair celebrates the adventurous spirit of the divine.  Meeting up at the Bristlecone General Store, on Sunday July 26th at 7am - a carpool to Snake Creek will begin the 8 mile round trip hike to a total elevation climb of 2,500 ft gain.   Bring water, sturdy foot wear, sunscreen/hat, and your positivity!   Event start date: 07/26/2026
Ely Shoshone Fandango & PowWow Ely Shoshone Fandango & PowWow Ely Shoshone Fandango and Powwow 2025! The Ely Shoshone Tribe's annual event celebrating Native American heritage with traditional dancing, music, food, and various activities typically includes a parade, drum and dance contests, archery, hand game tournaments, and other competitions like basketball, horseshoes, and cornhole.  The event is open to the public and aims to share and celebrate the rich culture of the Shoshone people.
