Fused Glass Class Fused Glass Class GREAT BASIN COLLEGE - Ely Center Offers a long list of quick courses to learn skills and develop your interests. The FUSED GLASS CLASS is offered Friday, September 19th. Each participant will be able to create a single 9-inch by 9-inch square fused glass plate. Students will learn how to safely handle glass, pre-plan and create their unique design, cut glass, and how to use various glass cutting tools. This course is intended as a step up from a beginner, and will be more hands-on than previous introduction to fused glass classes. Each student will be provided with a clear base, assorted colored sheet glass, other accessory glass items, and all necessary tools to create their own unique works of art. The instructor will kiln-fire each piece after the class. Pieces will be available for pickup at the GBC-Ely Campus.Ely in-person class for ages 12 and up.Event start date: 09/19/2025
Ely Lions Pancake Breakfast Ely Lions Pancake Breakfast Join in the fun during this 50 year White Pine County tradition! Come  to Broadbent Park and check out all the Silver State Classic's high performance race cars and enjoy a fresh hot breakfast. For approximately 50 years, the Ely Lions have been helping to start the day by serving up pancakes, sausage, eggs and coffee.  Only $10 per plate. Event start date: 09/20/2025

This pass must be visible in your vehicle windshield during the race. All spectator vehicles must also have a parking pass. Parking passes are mandatory everywhere within the State Park.
