Fused Glass Class

GREAT BASIN COLLEGE - Ely Center Offers a long list of quick courses to learn skills and develop your interests. 

The FUSED GLASS CLASS is offered Friday, September 19th. 

Each participant will be able to create a single 9-inch by 9-inch square fused glass plate. Students will learn how to safely handle glass, pre-plan and create their unique design, cut glass, and how to use various glass cutting tools. This course is intended as a step up from a beginner, and will be more hands-on than previous introduction to fused glass classes. 

Each student will be provided with a clear base, assorted colored sheet glass, other accessory glass items, and all necessary tools to create their own unique works of art. 

The instructor will kiln-fire each piece after the class. Pieces will be available for pickup at the GBC-Ely Campus.

Ely in-person class for ages 12 and up.
