TRAIL POETRY WORKSHOP Saturday, April 25, 9am-Noon Meet at the Bristlecone General Store. We’ll drive to the Pole Canyon Trailhead in Great Basin National Park. Katie will lead us on a 2 mile hike on this easy-moderate trail and the. return to the trailhead picnic area for our writing session focused on our senses and connection with nature.
DINNER & POETRY READING Saturday, April 25, 6pm We’ll dine together in the Bristlecone General Store and then share our favorite poems and/or our poems from the morning workshop. The menu will be vegan with a gluten free option. $25 includes main meal, dessert and coffee/tea.
YOGA CLASS Sunday, April 26th, 10am Bristlecone General Store Backyard Stretch your body, mind and soul as we gather for a morning yoga session led by Katie. Bring your own mat, if possible. We do have some to borrow $15
PROSE FORM POETRY WORKSHOP Sunday, April 26, 1pm-3pm. In this workshop, we'll explore the forms of prose poetry and flash nonfiction. Participants will craft short pieces that combine the language of poetry with the form of prose. This workshop will build on Saturday's workshop, but can be taken on its own.
