Ely Children's Community Theater Ely Children's Community Theater Join Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy as they travel through the wardrobe into Narnia to meet the Lion, Aslan, and free the land from the rule of the White Witch and her perpetual winter.General admission tickets: $10.00Children (14 and under): free, with an accompanying adult.   Held at the Ely Methodist Church, The Ely Children's Community Theater has been actively entertaining audiences for almost a decade, having brought such hits as the Wizard of Oz, Cats, and Alice in Wonderland. This worth while group encourages all youth to get involved in teh dramatic arts and discover whole worlds to play and get lost in for the sake of entertainment.  Dramatized by Joseph Robinette from the story by C.S. Nevada State Fire Association Training Symposium Nevada State Fire Association Training Symposium APRIL 17th & 18th, 2026, the state of nevada's best firefighters, new recruits, seasoned veterans, Fire Marshals, and industry emergency response coordinators will assemble in Ely, Nevada for the Nevada State Fire Association's Regional Training Symposium.   Firefighters from across the Silver State will experience Live Fire Trainings, Live Extrication Trainings with LN Curtis, Forcible Entry with Hortons and Hunt, as well as agility course competitions.  The City of Ely and the Ely Volunteer Fire Department will provide support, coordinate logistics, cater special meals and play host to the incredible men and women committed to public saftey.  Event start date: 04/17/2026
