McGill Labor Day Celebration 2026
Celebrate Labor Day weekend the McGill way! Join the community September 4–6, 2026, for three days packed with hometown tradition, live entertainment, family fun, friendly competition, and a spectacular fireworks finale.
The celebration kicks off Friday, September 4 with the Labor Day Parade, followed by an evening at Avenue K Park featuring live music with Nick Tallerico, food, games, vendor booths, a Poker Run hosted by Elevate Fitness, and a Cornhole Tournament. Whether you’re joining the competition or just coming out to enjoy the festivities, Friday night is the perfect way to start the weekend.
On Saturday, September 5, cool off at the McGill Town Picnic & Big Splash at the McGill Swimming Pool. Enjoy free swimming, activities, free hot dogs and hamburgers, and plenty of fun for the whole family from 11:00 AM–3:00 PM.
The celebration continues Sunday, September 6 with a softball game at 4:00 PM, along with games, snow cones, refreshments, and more. Stick around after the game, grab your lawn chair, and find the perfect spot for the grand finale — a 9:00 PM fireworks show by Great Basin Pyrotechnics.
Come spend Labor Day weekend in McGill and enjoy three days of small-town fun, community spirit, and traditions worth celebrating!
