Get ready for an out-of-this-world evening at Astronomy on Tap Trivia Night! Join fellow space enthusiasts for a fun night of astronomy-themed trivia, good company, and a little friendly competition under some of the darkest skies around.

The event takes place Saturday, September 12 at 7:30 PM at the Bristlecone General Store, located at 115 S. Baker Ave. in Baker, Nevada.

Presented in partnership with Caltech and the Great Basin National Park Astronomy Festival, this is the perfect way to put your cosmic knowledge to the test while celebrating the incredible night skies of Great Basin.

Whether you're an astronomy expert or simply someone who loves looking up at the stars, come out, grab a team, and see if you have what it takes to conquer the cosmos!

10th Annual Race the Rails 10th Annual Race the Rails The steam locomotive and the bicycle were invented nearly 10 years apart. Both changed the way we travel, but which will prevail on September 12th at the 10th Annual Race the Rails?!At the sound of the train whistle, mountain and road bikers race to see who can get back to the depot before the train.Mountain bikers and gravel grinders test their speed and agility on a challenging 10-mile course through the beautiful mountains surrounding Ely. Road bikers prove their speed and endurance on a 25-mile course along roads and highway sin the area. Everyone who finishes the course will receive a finishers medal.This is not a regular race against time, or your fellow riders.
