BBQ, Brews & Auction Too

Women are incredible leaders in business and professional environments across the world. Membership in groups like the P.E.O. Sisterhood has brought together more than a half a million women in the United States and Canada who are passionate about helping other women advance through education.  Chambers of Commerce operate in much the same way, supporting women in their professional endeavors. 

Friendship is the cornerstone of groups like P.E.O. – it is the legacy left by the group's Founders and it thrives in their unique Sisterhood. Existing as a source of encouragement and support for women to realize their potential in whatever worthwhile endeavor they choose, the White Pine Chamber of Commerce is proud to support the many women in P.E.O. as well as in so many local philinthropic organizations. 

Promoting educational opportunities for women continues to be the primary philanthropy of the BBQ, Brew, & AUCTION TOO. 

In fact, the P.E.O. Sisterhood proudly sponsors six international philanthropies, or projects, designed to assist women with their educational goals.  The White Pine Chamber of Commerce is proud to suppot the annual BBQ fundraiser that enables the betterment of incredibly deserving women.

As a result, groups like P.E.O. and the Chamber of Commerce are clearly making a difference in the lives of women at the local and global levels.

Since its inception in 1869, the nonprofit organization has helped more than 122,000* women pursue educational goals by providing nearly $415 million* in grants, scholarships, awards and loans. The Sisterhood also owns and supports Cottey College.
